Version 2.0 may have been a long time coming, but that doesn’t mean Next Audio Labs is rushing into things half cocked.
On top of that, you’ll be able to edit your track info within Rekord Buddy 2 and see those changes across all your music libraries. The ability to access Serato’s library is a biggie, as it means you can now freely move throughout the holy triumvirate of Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox, Serato DJ and Traktor Pro 2. What’s new over v1 of Rekord Buddy? The two big additions are support for migrating to and from Serato DJ, and new collection management features.
So… to the lamentation of certain corners of the DJWORX team, Rekord Buddy 2 is finally on the horizon, but only on OS X for the moment. I have been involved in fixing bugs and adding features.
